Explain 'Admin' ?

Through the ‘Admin’ link, the Librarian of concerned institution can access this module by providing the unique Username and Password to fulfill Document Delivery Request (DDR) received from other Institutes/Universities. More details about the module are provided upon accessing Administration Module.

What is 'Request the Article' (RA) ?

‘Request the Article’ link is meant for providing a particular article of a journal which is not subscribed by CeRA under the Consortia, but available in the library of an institution. Such Articles can be obtained through Document Delivery Request (DDR) for which the DDR form has to be filled up by the users.

Why CeRA is not accessible outside the campus or at home?

All resources subscribed through CeRA are IP authenticated. Full Text access to articles is retrievable only within the campus of the Institute/University connected internally by LAN. Hence, outside the campus access only upto Abstracts level can be obtained.

How to become a member of CeRA ?

An individual researcher cannot join as a member of CeRA. CeRA is for an institution in NARS. Hence any researcher desiring to access resources through CeRA, is requested to contact the concerned librarian. This is applicable for all regional centre/colleges of the main campus of an Institute/University.

Can you conduct a workshop in our institute ?

Yes, it is possible, however not exclusively for one institution. As per M&E committee of CeRA, trainings/workshops on e-resources can be conducted at a location in which scientist/teachers from adjoining CeRA members can also participate.
